To manufacture KinglySlate Standard only the most impressive and outstanding blocks of slates and quartzites are used. The maximum sizes of the blocks are 9.8 ft. in length, 4.9 ft. width and 2.3 ft. height. To obtain a 0.06'' thick sheet, glass fiber and resin are applied to the upper layer of the block; Subsequently, the skin is detached and removed from the stone.
